Lvivske beer, produced by the Lviv Brewery, holds the distinction of being the oldest continuously operating brewery in Ukraine, with its origins dating back to 1715. The brewery was established by Jesuit monks in the Krakow suburb of Lviv under the patronage of Polish Count Stanisław Potocki. The monks utilized their deep knowledge of brewing, drawing from ancient scripts and experimenting with recipes to create their own distinctive beer.
Today, Lvivske is recognized not only for its historical significance but also for its quality, having won several awards, including the East European Beer Award for best dark lager in 2018.
